The Stray Cats announce fall tour

The rockabilly group The Stray Cats announced an expansion of their 2026 touring schedule with a series of new fall concert dates. The newly added performances follow the group’s cross-country summer tour and extend their live schedule into the late autumn months.

The fall tour will begin on November 9 in Grand Prairie, Texas, before visiting cities such as Nashville, Charlotte, Orlando, and Atlanta. The upcoming tour will include all three original members of the band, featuring guitarist and vocalist Brian Setzer, upright bassist and vocalist Lee Rocker, and drummer and vocalist Slim Jim Phantom.

Setlists for the fall performances are scheduled to highlight some of the multi-million selling group’s historical hits. Audiences can expect to hear popular selections from their catalog including “Stray Cat Strut,” “Rock This Town,” “Runaway Boys,” and “(She’s) Sexy + 17.“

The tour announcement follows the group’s recent release of two tracks through Surfdog Records, titled “Stampede” and a cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Teenage Heaven.” The tracks mark the first new studio releases from the group in six years and will be distributed on 7-inch 45 RPM vinyl records beginning July 24.

The two new tracks were produced by the band members, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, and recorded across two studio sessions at The Terrarium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Laguna Sound in Laguna Beach, California. Guitarist Brian Setzer co-wrote the original track “Stampede,” while the cover of “Teenage Heaven” was written by Jerry Capehart and Eddie Cochran.

Tickets for the newly announced fall tour will become available to the general public on Friday, July 17, at 10:00 a.m. local time through the band’s website. An exclusive artist fan club presale will launch on Tuesday, July 14, at 10:00 a.m. local time and conclude on Thursday, July 16, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
