A new venue is set to join Memphis’ live music landscape as Satellite Music Hall announced the first slate of performances for its grand opening season beginning in September 2026.

The 1,300-capacity venue, located at Crosstown Concourse, will open with hometown band The Band Camino performing Sept. 4-5. The initial lineup also features Memphis artists Valerie June on Sept. 17 and Project Pat on Sept. 26, alongside nationally touring acts including Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, and Prof.

Operated by Live Nation, the venue is designed to host a wide range of genres, from indie rock and folk to hip-hop, R&B, metal, and electronic music. Organizers said the space will also be used for comedy shows, community events, and private gatherings.

“Our inaugural lineup reflects the energy and culture of Memphis,” said Ted Heinig, vice president of Live Nation Southeast, in a statement. “Opening with The Band Camino will be a special moment for the community and sets the tone for Satellite Music Hall as a place where artists and fans come together.”

Memphis Mayor Paul Young said the venue will contribute to the city’s cultural and economic growth, while Crosstown Concourse CEO Todd Richardson described it as a key addition to a growing entertainment district in the neighborhood.

Additional shows are expected to be announced in the coming months as Satellite Music Hall prepares for its debut season.
