Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday that a new concert film, “Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D),” will arrive in theaters next month.

The film, co-directed by Academy Award-winner James Cameron and Eilish herself, is scheduled for a global release on May 8. Captured during her recent sold-out world tour, the production is designed specifically for immersive formats, including Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, and other premium large-format screens.

Tickets for the theatrical event go on sale this Thursday, April 16.

The collaboration marks a rare foray into the concert genre for Cameron, known for helming “Avatar” and “Titanic.” The project is a joint production between Paramount, Lightstorm Earth, The Darkroom, and Interscope Films.

“Captured during her sold-out world tour, the film brings an innovative new concert experience to the big screen from one of the most celebrated and successful artists of her generation,” the studio said in a statement accompanying the announcement.

While the film has not yet been rated, a new trailer was released to coincide with the ticket announcement. Fans can find more information and local theater listings at participating box offices starting Thursday.
