Westgate Las Vegas expands Elvis Presley concert experiences at International Theater

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino will debut 1970 Live! That’s the Way It Was on Saturday, October 24, transporting audiences back to one of the most celebrated moments in entertainment history. Inspired by the acclaimed 1970 documentary, the immersive production recreates the unforgettable performances captured during Elvis’ legendary Las Vegas residency.

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is expanding its Elvis Presley concert series with two production runs at the International Theater. The venue will host 1969 LIVE! The King Returns on July 31, followed by the debut of 1970 LIVE! That’s the Way It Was on October 24.

The July 31 performance features tribute artist Travis Powell recreating Presley’s 1969 return to live performance at the site, formerly known as the International Hotel. The concert is part of a weekend event schedule running July 31 through August 1, featuring themed activities across the resort.

Weekend activities include a karaoke event in the Cabaret Theater, a complimentary speaker series with guest panels, and a pool event. The resort is also offering behind-the-scenes tours of the International Theater for $69, along with era-themed spa treatments and dining options.

The second production, debuting on October 24, takes inspiration from the 1970 music documentary filmed at the property. The show aims to recreate the stage performances, music, and wardrobe captured during Presley’s original residency in the same theater space.

Tickets for both the July 31 and October 24 concert events are currently on sale through the resort. Room packages, cabana reservations, and theater tour bookings are managed through the venue’s online ticketing channels.
