River House at Odette’s in New Hope, Pa., is hosting Fireside Ghost Stories at Odette’s Overlook on Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The retreat overlooks the Delaware River and is offering a range of fall experiences this season.
The annual event is interactive and includes an informal talk with Carolyn Randolph, a historian and ghost tour guide. Randolph specializes in Bucks County history and shares tales of New Hope and the surrounding towns, along with the historical figures said to still linger in the area. The series also ran on Oct. 7.
Guests can take photos among scarecrows and pumpkins at Peddler’s Village. River House at Odette’s also points visitors to programs with The Distillery and New Hope Ghost Tours.
Odette’s dining reservations are recommended for the ghost story evenings.

Guests enjoy lovely autumn days as they wander shops and enjoy the flavors of fall before returning to cozy accommodations with an autumnal cheese plate and festive cookies waiting by the fire.
Spirits by the River
Available through Nov. 29, 2026, Spirits by the River invites guests to enjoy a guided whiskey tasting experience with The Distillery in Lambertville. The two-night stay includes accommodations, round-trip transportation to the whiskey tasting experience, and welcome amenity.
