Rapper MC Lars will release the 19-track anniversary edition of The Edgar Allan Poe LP on Oct. 16, 2026, through Oglio Records. The release comes one year after the album was initially delivered to Kickstarter backers following a crowdfunding campaign that raised $29,917.

The expanded edition increases the original 12-track album to 19 total tracks by adding seven bonus recordings. The additions feature three new 2026 versions along with four tracks taken from the 2012 release The Edgar Allan Poe EP.

Executive produced by The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg, the album includes guest appearances from Jaret Reddick of Bowling for Soup, Mega Ran, Watt White, Rodney Anonymous, Schäffer the Darklord, and others. The album’s single, a updated 2026 version of “Amontillado” featuring Watt White, was released on Oct. 2.

The record expands on the artist’s history of literature-based hip-hop, which includes earning a master’s degree in Instructional Science and Technology after studying the educational impacts of teaching poetry through rap. The anniversary release marks a return to Oglio Records, which previously issued earlier projects from the musician.

Oglio Records is an independent record label founded in 1993 by Carl Caprioglio. The release is available through the label’s distribution channels alongside the artist’s own Horris Records imprint.
