Sola has announced the nationwide launch of Sola Bites, a peanut-butter stuffed bite-sized bagel product available exclusively at Walmart. The ready-to-eat snack is positioned in the bread aisle as well as online through the brand’s Walmart store page.
The new product comes in two flavor variations, including Grape & Peanut Butter and Strawberry & Peanut Butter. Each package carries a suggested retail price of $6.48.
Each three-bite serving contains 11 grams of complete protein, 17 grams of fiber, four grams of net carbs, and 150 calories. The Non-GMO Project Verified bites contain zero grams of added sugar and are made without artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors.
The expansion comes as company data shows about 70 percent of Sola Bagel consumers eat bagels outside of traditional breakfast hours. Additionally, more than 50 percent of buyers were new to the bagel category in the prior year.
With this release, the brand is establishing a broader snacking platform. Sola plans to continue expanding the product line with additional flavors and formats in the future.
