Protein bar company dasso good is expanding its product offerings to support individuals living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Founded by siblings Sean and Natasha Dassoff, dasso good designs its products specifically with digestibility and simple ingredients in mind.
The idea for dasso good was inspired by Sean Dassoff’s personal experience managing Crohn’s disease flare-ups. After struggling to find convenient protein options that did not trigger digestive sensitivity, he collaborated with gastroenterologists, registered dietitians, and inflammatory bowel disease clinics to develop the dasso good recipe.
Each dasso good bar contains 17 grams of protein and is made without gluten, sugar alcohols, seed oils, or artificial flavors. Ahead of Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Month in December, dasso good is adding a new flavor and a variety pack to its existing Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Crunch lineup.
Beyond its product line, dasso good actively collaborates with organizations such as the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and Athletes vs. Crohn’s & Colitis. The company sponsors events, donates bars, and volunteers to assist individuals and families affected by inflammatory bowel disease.
This year, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation recognized dasso good co-founder Sean Dassoff as a hero for his work in raising awareness about the daily challenges of living with IBD. Through its expanding platform and product offerings, dasso good continues its goal of supporting the digestive health community.
