C. F. Martin & Co. has expanded its Martin O’ahu family with two new instruments and a set of premium ukulele strings. The new additions include the Martin O’ahu HG-28K2, the Martin O’ahu TKE Uke Burst, and Martin O’ahu Low G Ukulele Strings.

The Martin O’ahu HG-28K2 features a smaller sloped-shoulder design paired with a solid koa top and solid flamed Hawaiian koa back and sides. Built with a gloss finish and a 24.9-inch scale, the instrument provides strong midrange projection and rich overtones in a compact body shape.

The Martin O’ahu TKE Uke Burst marks the first ukulele introduced to the collection, featuring a tenor body with a solid spruce top and solid koa back and sides. It includes Mi-Si Simple Jack electronics with a battery-free preamp, nickel open-gear tuners, antique white binding, and an included softshell case.

The Martin O’ahu Low G Ukulele Strings pair Polygut material with a silver-wound Low G string to increase tonal range and resonance for tenor ukuleles. Pricing is set at $4,199.99 for the HG-28K2, $899.99 for the TKE Uke Burst, and $9.99 for the string set.

The new collection items released on Oct. 6, 2026, and are available through authorized Martin dealers and the manufacturer’s website. The lineup pays homage to the Hawaiian music movement of the 1920s and early 1930s that influenced modern steel-string acoustic guitars.
