LuminoCity Holiday Lights Festival returns to Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York, for its fifth year. The festival runs from Nov. 11, 2026, through Jan. 3, 2027, and covers 14 acres.
This year’s festival adds the Lumi Express, Eisenhower Park’s first holiday train ride. It takes guests through the illuminated landscape. Other new features include children’s artwork and family attractions across four themed worlds: Magical Wonderwood, Dino Safari, Holidayville and Tundra Twilight.
The worlds include more than 100 illuminated and animatronic creatures, large installations and a 40-foot Christmas tree. New photo spots let families step into holiday scenes. Families can also try Happy Holidays Hop, a 20-foot-tall inflatable Santa, and the Triceratops Bounce Nest. Santa will make pop-up appearances on select weekends, and limited-edition holiday merchandise will be sold.
Lumi’s Utopia, the festival’s children’s art program with the Long Island Children’s Museum, is in its sixth year. Winning drawings from this year’s “Dino Friends” contest are turned into handcrafted light sculptures. Guests can watch master lantern artisans Huang Xingxiu and Jiang Lei in a sensory-friendly demonstration. Theme nights with live music, dress-up and merchandise giveaways will be held throughout the season. Themes and dates will be announced soon.
The festival is at Eisenhower Park, 1899 Hempstead Turnpike, and on-site parking is free. General admission starts at $29, and tickets for children ages 4 to 12 start at $22, before taxes and fees. Children 3 and under enter free. Some attractions require separate add-on tickets.
Founder and CEO Xiaoyi Chen said returning to Long Island for a fifth year is meaningful and that families have made the festival part of their holiday traditions.
