The Countdown 250 Ball will take place on July 3, 2026, at the Washington Hilton as an historic Independence Eve celebration. The event marks America’s 250th anniversary and will feature dozens of performers, themed entertainment zones, and interactive holograms.
Attendees will move through multiple entertainment zones rather than attending a traditional gala format. The evening includes live music, roving performers, interactive exhibits, and the presentation of the inaugural All-American Hero Awards and All-American Icon Awards.
A featured attraction of the evening is the Lunaprise Lunar Museum and Immersive Experience from Space Blue. This exhibit highlights lunar-inspired displays, Apollo-to-Artemis experiences, NASA-inspired STEM activations, and certified lunar collectibles. Space Blue previously curated the mission that delivered a lunar edition of the Declaration of Independence to the Moon.
The celebration includes contributions from internationally recognized artists, educators, and innovators. Musician Scott Page, known for his work with Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and Toto, is among the featured performers. Large-scale visual installations and tributes to American innovators will be displayed throughout the venue.
The event will culminate at midnight with the 1,000-Bells-of-Freedom ceremony featuring America’s Freedom Bell as the country enters Independence Day. Event founder and executive producer Mike Harrigan stated that the project brings together music, history, and technology for the anniversary. Tickets and registration options are currently open to the public online.
