HGTV will premiere a new six-episode competition series, A Very Haunted Renovation, on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted by actress Anna Camp, the show features six designers transforming Bihl Manor, a mansion located in Fremont, Ohio.
Designers SK Stokes Kennedy, Patrick Peel, John Ryan, Bershan Shaw, Logan Wright, and Diana Vogel will live inside the home for 31 days during the renovation project. The contestants will compete in elimination challenges testing their nerve and design abilities for a $50,000 cash prize.
Design expert Michel Smith Boyd will mentor the contestants and evaluate each project throughout the season. Evaluation duties will also feature guest judges including Hannah Beachler, Jack Osbourne, Billy Porter, Cassandra Peterson, Eli Roth, and LuLu Wilson.
In the season premiere, the six competitors will split into two teams to complete a four-day bedroom design challenge. The redesigns will draw inspiration from spirits rumored to haunt the home’s sleeping quarters.
Ahead of the television broadcast, HGTV will release an original YouTube series titled Would You Buy This Haunted House? on Sept. 11. The digital series features psychic Steffi Hill visiting various properties on the market.
