Grillo’s Pickles celebrated the grand opening of a new production facility in Taylorsville, Indiana, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 27. Located at 10990 Hubler Drive, the 155,000-square-foot plant serves as a central production site for the brand as national demand grows.
The company, a subsidiary of Irresistible Foods Group, expects the Bartholomew County facility to ultimately create up to 150 job opportunities in the area. Grillo’s is actively hiring to fill more than 40 open positions ranging from entry level to director level, including maintenance mechanics, maintenance technicians, and a director of engineering.
Executives from both Grillo’s Pickles and Irresistible Foods Group attended the grand opening event. Speakers included Irresistible Foods Group President John Linehan, Grillo’s Pickles President and CEO Adam Kaufman, Chief Operating Officer Bill Russell, Indiana General Manager Dustin Etchison, and King’s Hawaiian CEO Mark Taira.
Kaufman stated that the facility represents a major milestone for the brand as it expands national distribution. He noted that the central location will allow the company to scale operations and meet customer demand while maintaining its standards for quality and freshness.
Grillo’s Pickles manufactures refrigerated pickles using a century-old family recipe free of artificial preservatives. The central Indiana location was established to support current product distribution and position the company for future growth.
