Really Big Coloring Books, Inc. has launched a national submission program through ColoringBook.com for independent creators and publishers. The initiative invites authors, illustrators, educators, and independent publishers to submit completed titles for review.
The St. Louis-based publisher aims to give content creators an established platform for potential listing, sale, and distribution across its sales network. Founded in 1988, the company produces custom publications, educational activity materials, and specialized books.
Through the new online submission portal, creators can present finished coloring books, activity books, storybooks, children’s titles, and general-interest works. Submitted materials must be original, properly licensed, and fully controlled by the submitting individual or organization.
The submission process requires applicants to provide contact details, book titles, author and illustrator credits, publication dates, language formats, and binding specifications. A cover letter along with a complete physical copy or digital document may also be requested for evaluation.
Illustrators interested in participating may submit portfolio links or sample artwork. For coloring-book submissions, the publisher looks for clean outlines, open coloring spaces, and age-appropriate content, with creators required to disclose any use of computer-generated content.
The publisher evaluates each project based on originality, overall quality, audience suitability, production standards, and commercial potential. Reviews take up to 60 days to complete, and submission does not guarantee acceptance, listing, or distribution rights.
