Technology companies Adobe and LinkedIn have launched a joint global training initiative called AI Essentials for Marketers. The program is designed to provide marketing professionals with accessible educational courses focused on artificial intelligence skills.
The training materials target specific roles across digital marketing, content creation, social communications, and data analytics. The courses are structured in short-form formats to accommodate professionals at various stages of their careers who cannot commit to extended training sessions. The curriculum covers topics such as automated content planning, audience targeting, and agentic workflows.
The course content is based on labor market data from the LinkedIn Economic Graph, which tracks 1.3 billion platform members and 71 million companies. According to the platform’s employment data, the share of marketing job postings requiring artificial intelligence literacy skills has increased by 113 percent over the past year.
The four role-based courses are currently available free of charge through LinkedIn Learning and the Adobe Experience League platform. The materials are offered in 47 languages and feature real-world case studies designed by LinkedIn’s BrandWorks team. Participants who finish the curriculum receive completion certificates that can be displayed directly on their individual LinkedIn profiles.
The joint initiative builds upon existing educational programs from both corporations, including the Adobe Digital Academy and LinkedIn Learning’s current catalog of 2,300 artificial intelligence courses. According to Adobe, 99 percent of Fortune 100 companies, including brands like L’Oreal and the National Football League, currently utilize artificial intelligence within an Adobe application.
