Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino will host a tribute concert titled 1970 LIVE! – That’s the Way It Was on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The production stars Elvis tribute artist Travis Powell and takes place inside the resort’s International Theater.
The performance is inspired by the 1970 documentary film Elvis: That’s the Way It Is, which was directed by Denis Sanders and filmed at the venue when it operated as the International Hotel. The original documentary captured rehearsals and live performances from Presley’s summer engagement, documenting his stage presence and musical range.
The tribute production features a nine-piece band and nine background singers to recreate the vocal arrangements from the 1970 performances. The setlist includes classic songs such as “Suspicious Minds,” “Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’,” “Love Me Tender,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Heartbreak Hotel.”
Tickets and seating information for the October 24 performance are available directly through Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. Additional details can be obtained by contacting the venue or visiting their official box office channels.
Westgate Las Vegas maintains a long-standing historical connection to Elvis Presley through his landmark residency performances at the property. The International Theater continues to host entertainment events celebrating the venue’s musical heritage and legacy.
