Live music destination Pacific Electric is expanding its footprint with the opening of The Garden, a new open-air gathering space located at the historic Naud Warehouse where Mission Junction meets Chinatown in Los Angeles. The all-ages area officially opens to the public over Labor Day weekend, running from September 3 through September 6.
Designed as a neighborhood space accessible without a concert ticket, The Garden features an outdoor bar serving draft cocktails alongside food items from Secret Indian Food Window, a concept by BADMAASH. The layout also incorporates lawn games including cornhole, giant Connect Four, and Jenga.
On Saturday, September 5, the venue will host a special evening featuring TUMBAO, an Afro-Latin nightlife experience presented in partnership with adidas. The lineup includes performances by Good Times Ahead, Giselle Peppers, Littlerok, Supernova, and Vago, with free entry provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Senior General Manager Stacey Levine stated that the goal of the new space is to offer an open, welcoming environment where community members can gather for drinks, food, and social activities without needing a ticketed event.
Following its initial four-day opening weekend, the venue will maintain regular ongoing weekly hours. Operating schedules are set for Thursdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
