The Bucks County Renaissance Faire will return for its third annual Labor Day weekend event from September 5 through September 7 at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The festival runs daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 130 E. Swamp Road. Following sold-out crowds in previous years, organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
This year’s entertainment lineup includes new acts such as one-man-band performer “The Traveler” Andrew Alesio and nationwide festival storyteller Finnegan Phoenix. Returning performers feature Falconry Girl, sword-swallower David Darwin, belly dancer Linwe, Celtic magicians Daniel GreenWolf & Bella, and Taylor’s Renaissance Country Dance.
The event will host more than 100 artisan craft and food vendors alongside interactive attractions like DaVinci’s Snow Cone Contraption. Festival activities include steel combat tournaments by Armored Combat Worldwide, equestrian stunt shows by Daly Riders, live blacksmithing demonstrations, and throwing ranges for archery, axes, and daggers.
Family entertainment options include a mermaid grotto, petting zoo, gem mining, and games led by Magibleu Enterprises and Adventures from the Wizard’s Tower. Daily costume contests will award prizes for individual adults, children, and groups. Local partners Revolution Bees, Crooked Eye Brewery, and the TileWorks Museum will offer mead, local pub items, and tilemaking demonstrations.
Organizers have expanded transit options through a partnership with Bux-Mont Transportation, providing complimentary shuttle service between a free parking garage at Union Street and North Broad Street and the festival site. On-site parking at TileWorks is strictly reserved for guests with handicapped plates or placards. Advance tickets range from $10 to $20, with free entry for children ages 4 and under, and discounts available for military members, veterans, and seniors.
