Mia Wellness Corp. has announced that its daily gut-health shake is now eligible for purchase using Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account funds. The Austin, Texas-based company partnered with Truemed to allow qualified customers to buy the product using pre-tax dollars, offering average savings of around 30%.

The expansion comes as an estimated 95% of Americans fail to meet recommended daily fiber intake levels. Most adults consume 10 to 15 grams per day, falling short of the recommended 25 to 30 grams for women and 38 grams for men.

The company noted that the fiber gap is widening as roughly one in eight Americans uses GLP-1 medications. These prescription drugs can compound existing digestive strain and make it harder to get adequate fiber, enzymes, and microbiome support through food intake alone.

Founder Jennifer Holt developed the chocolate shake after her own postpartum wellness journey required her to juggle separate powders, fiber supplements, and enzyme capsules. She built the formula to replace multiple daily products with a single drink aimed at total gut health.

“Everybody deserves equal access to Mía, so they can reach their fiber goals without compromising on the other things that matter,” Holt said regarding the new pre-tax funding option.

Each serving of Mia delivers 22 grams of fiber, 27 grams of protein, and a 17-enzyme digestive blend, along with six organic greens, five superfruits, and three functional mushrooms. The formula contains less than 1 gram of sugar and stays under 200 calories per serving.
