Lay’s is releasing five limited-time flavors this holiday season, all inspired by dishes found on the holiday table. The Holi-LAY’S lineup includes savory sides, a holiday centerpiece, and sweet-and-salty desserts, and it will be sold in stores nationwide.
Lay’s Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Lay’s Roasted Holiday Turkey will debut nationwide on Oct. 25. The scalloped potato flavor is described as creamy and cheesy, while the turkey flavor combines roasted turkey and rich gravy tastes.
Lay’s Maple Bacon will arrive on U.S. shelves for the first time on Nov. 8. It pairs sweet maple flavor with smoky bacon taste.
Two chocolate-covered options follow on Dec. 1 at select retailers, with plans to expand in 2027. Lay’s Wavy Milk Chocolate covers the ridged chip in milk chocolate. Lay’s Wavy Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate combines dark chocolate and pistachios.
Starting Oct. 26, fans can enter the Happy Holi-Lay’s Sweepstakes by scanning the code on qualifying bags or visiting HappyHoli-Lays.com. Prizes include a glass chip bowl, a wood chip bowl, a sweater, a charcuterie set, a Lay’s x Le Creuset oval casserole, a multicooker and a tile game set. Official rules, eligibility requirements, and entry details are on the website.
Lay’s pointed to a survey finding that 78% of consumers consider food a great holiday gift, and 55% prefer it over other types of gifts. “The holidays are all about gathering around the table with friends and family, and food plays an important role in those celebrations,” said Denise Truelove, senior vice president of marketing for PepsiCo Foods.
