Craft Recordings is honoring the 10th anniversary of The Record Company’s acclaimed debut album, Give It Back to You, with a deluxe expanded reissue, arriving February 20, 2026. The commemorative edition—available as a 2-LP gatefold set, CD, and across digital platforms—includes the original 10-track album alongside the band’s previously unreleased first concert, recorded in bassist Alex Stiff’s Los Feliz living room in 2013.
The reissue celebrates the blues-rock trio’s journey from DIY beginnings to international acclaim, capturing the raw, unfiltered spirit that first made Give It Back to You a standout. Fans can look forward to intimate early performances of album favorites like “Off the Ground” and “Rita Mae Young,” plus a gritty rendition of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock & Roll”—a full-circle moment for the band, who later opened for Seger in 2019.
The digital edition will include bonus tracks such as alternate mixes, acoustic versions, and live cuts, with the full tracklist to be revealed soon. Pre-orders are now available through the band’s official website.
To mark the milestone, The Record Company will embark on their Give It Back to You 10th Anniversary Tour beginning January 8 in Park City, Utah, and wrapping March 28 in their hometown of Los Angeles. The 27-date trek will see the band performing the album in its entirety, revisiting the songs that launched their career while sharing stories from a decade on the road.

A Breakthrough Debut
Originally released in February 2016, Give It Back to You blended the grit of Delta blues with the swagger of classic rock, recorded largely live in the band’s living room. Its immediacy struck a chord with listeners—spending 42 weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and earning a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
The breakout single “Off the Ground” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s AAA chart and broke into the Mainstream Rock Top 30, while follow-up “Rita Mae Young” climbed to No. 12. Critics and fans alike praised the album’s raw power and sincerity. Entertainment Weekly lauded its “scuzzy, 10-track set [that] meshes the group’s biggest influences—the early electric blues rock ’n’ roll of John Lee Hooker, staccato lyrical delivery akin to The Stooges’ Iggy Pop, and Rolling Stones-style grooves.” Rolling Stone declared, “The blues may be nothing new, but The Record Company wring new life out of old traditions.”
From Los Feliz to the World Stage
Formed in 2011 by Chris Vos (vocals, guitar), Alex Stiff (bass), and Marc Cazorla (drums), The Record Company began as a jam session between friends inspired by John Lee Hooker’s Hooker ’N Heat and the primal energy of Iggy Pop. Their living room sessions soon evolved into a debut album that brought them from local gigs to festival stages and late-night TV appearances, including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, and CBS This Morning.
Reflecting on the band’s beginnings, frontman Chris Vos said, “‘Give It Back to You’ was about the formation of a new friendship that led to the start of a dream we all were afraid might pass us by. Ten years later, we’re still so grateful to have found the music we had always been looking for, and that it’s taken us from live recording sessions in our bass player’s living room to stages all over the world.”
Continuing the Legacy
Since their debut, The Record Company has released three more albums, including their 2018 follow-up All of This Life, featuring the hit single “Life to Fix,” and their 2023 release The 4th Album. Their gritty, soulful sound has led them to share stages with legends like B.B. King, Social Distortion, Grace Potter, and Trombone Shorty. Their songs have also appeared in major films (Bad Moms), TV series (Suits, Nashville, Shameless), and video games (MLB The Show 22).
The Give It Back to You [10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition] offers fans a definitive look back at the band’s formative years—capturing their live chemistry, deep blues influences, and unshakable energy that continues to define their sound.
