Musicians mgk and Wiz Khalifa will headline the annual MGK Day celebration taking place August 7 and 8 in Cleveland. The city-sanctioned event honors local culture, art, and community across two days of public activities, performances, and vendor showcases.
Festivities begin on Friday, August 7, with the Red Bull Best Trick Contest at Crooked River Skatepark starting at 5 p.m. The skateboarding competition will feature local vendors, food trucks, live music, and merchandise.
On Saturday, August 8, activities shift to North Coast Yard, beginning with an afternoon tailgate starting at noon that includes fan challenges and prizes. The annual Harley-Davidson City Ride will meet at South East Harley-Davidson at 2 p.m. before riding toward the main event grounds.
Gates at North Coast Yard open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with main stage programming starting at 6 p.m. The evening culminates in a headlining performance by mgk and Wiz Khalifa, followed by a fireworks display at dusk.
First officially proclaimed by Mayor Justin Bibb in 2022, MGK Day partners with community groups like the Lost Poets Society to support local youth and arts initiatives.
