Musician Katie Pruitt has officially announced her upcoming 2026 Fools For the Fleeting Tour. The multi-city concert run will span 33 dates across the United States to celebrate her newly announced studio album. The tour is scheduled to officially begin on September 23 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The nationwide itinerary includes performances in major metropolitan markets such as New York City, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Nashville, and San Francisco. The live shows will feature new tracks from the upcoming project, highlighting Pruitt’s live instrumentation and guitar work. The Nashville-based and Georgia-bred artist previously earned an Emerging Artist of the Year nomination from the Americana Music Association following her 2020 debut album, Expectations.
The tour directly follows the scheduled release of the new album, Fools for the Fleeting, which will debut on September 18 through Rounder Records. Pruitt wrote the material during a chaotic period marked by political, technological, and personal changes, including heartbreak. The lyrical themes of the record focus heavily on human impermanence, transience, and grief while using nature as a mirror for inner experiences.
Pruitt has already shared the first single from the record, titled “Blackout,” which features a collaboration with singer and songwriter Nolan Taylor. The single incorporates lyrical references to natural disasters and arrived alongside an apocalyptic music video depicting a real-life power outage. The tracking follows the release of her song “Same Boat,” which debuted last month.
Tickets go on sale at 10 am today.
