Tour organizers for the Totally Tubular Festival have announced a lineup change ahead of their upcoming cross-country summer tour. The musical series is scheduled to launch on July 17, 2026, in Phoenix.
The adjustment follows an unexpected cancellation by the rock band The Motels. According to an official statement from the group, lead singer and founder Martha Davis requires time to recover from a recent medical procedure, forcing the band to take the summer season off.
To fill the vacant slots, festival organizers have secured two replacement acts for different portions of the tour. Bow Wow Wow will join the lineup for a series of West Coast and Southwestern performances running from July 17 through a July 26 show in Salt Lake City.
Men Without Hats will take over the remaining replacement dates later in the season. Their appearances will span from an August 7 performance in Washington, D.C., through an August 16 concert in Aurora, Illinois.
The remaining festival lineup remains unchanged and features several musical acts that gained prominence during the 1980s. Scheduled artists include Thomas Dolby and The Lost Toy People, A Flock of Seagulls, The Producers, Animotion, The Escape Club, and Tommy Tutone.
The 2026 tour represents a notable milestone for multiple performing acts on the bill. It marks the first time Thomas Dolby and The Lost Toy People have shared a stage since a 1988 performance at the Rose Bowl, and it serves as the first national coast-to-coast United States tour for the original lineup of The Producers in more than 25 years.

7/26 – SALT LAKE CITY – RED BUTTE GARDEN AMPHITHEATRE
