Kirstin Maldonado will join the Broadway cast of SIX beginning June 1, producers announced Wednesday.

The three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, best known as a member of Pentatonix, will take on the role of Anne Boleyn at the Lena Horne Theatre (256 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036). She succeeds Dylan Mulvaney, who is scheduled to play her final performance in the role on May 31.

The Tony Award-winning musical, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, opened on Broadway in October 2021 and is currently in its fifth year. The production reimagines the six wives of Henry VIII as pop stars, blending historical storytelling with contemporary music.

Maldonado joins a cast that includes Adrianna Hicks, Jasmine Forsberg, Olivia Donalson, Abigail Barlow, and Anna Uzele.

In addition to her work with Pentatonix, Maldonado has released solo music and previously made her Broadway debut in Kinky Boots in 2018.

“SIX” has received 23 awards, including the 2022 Tony Award for best original score, and ranks among the longest-running productions at the Lena Horne Theatre.

The musical continues to play an open-ended run in New York, with national and international productions currently touring.
