Multi-platinum artist Sam Barber has announced an extension of his headlining “The American Route Tour,” adding new dates through the end of 2024. The expansion follows the release of his sophomore album, “Broken View,” which debuted last week to widespread critical attention.

The newly confirmed leg includes stops at several major venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Chicago’s The Salt Shed Outdoors, and the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston. These shows build on a successful year for the Missouri-raised singer, who recently completed a global world tour and appeared on the soundtrack for the film “Twisters.”

Barber’s new 13-song collection, “Broken View,” was released via Atlantic Outpost and features co-production by Joe Becker and Aaron Dessner. The record explores introspective themes of self-discovery and loss, following his RIAA Gold-certified debut, “Restless Mind.” His breakthrough single, “Straight and Narrow,” has achieved 2x Platinum status and contributed to his total of more than 3.4 billion global streams.

Pre-sale tickets for the new tour dates will be available starting Tuesday, April 14, at 10 a.m. local time for fans who sign up for early access. General public sales are scheduled to begin Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. local time.
