Musician Paul McCartney will release a special edition of his solo studio album The Boys of Dungeon Lane this October. Released originally in May 2026, the project marked McCartney’s first new solo album in over five years and reached No. 1 on the UK charts while also earning a nomination for the 2026 Mercury Prize.

The upcoming special edition contains four additional tracks, including three new songs titled “City Fox,” “One Night Stand,” and “Chelsea Boots.” The release also features a new “flip mix” of “Home To Us,” a duet with Ringo Starr where the two musicians swap their original vocal parts.

Physical formats for the expanded release include a limited edition 2LP orange and blue marble vinyl featuring a zoetrope etching. The physical cover artwork is adapted from a silkscreened collage created by artist Kate Gibb, using more than 100 images from McCartney’s personal collection.

Pre-order options for the physical vinyl and digital formats are available ahead of the October release date. Specific distribution and access details are managed through McCartney’s official retail channels.

The album reflects on McCartney’s childhood in Liverpool, his parents, and his early experiences with John Lennon and George Harrison. Taking its title from a lyric in the track “Days We Left Behind,” the project focuses on memories from McCartney’s upbringing prior to his rise to international fame.
