The Connecticut-founded jam band Goose has added a surprise performance at Central Park SummerStage on Sunday, June 21, 2026. This newly announced outdoor date follows a consecutive two-night engagement at Madison Square Garden on June 19 and 20. Tickets for the surprise appearance go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, June 17, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
General admission tickets are priced at $40 to honor the 40th anniversary of the historic Manhattan concert series. The newly scheduled appearance is part of an ongoing release celebration for the group’s sixth studio album, BIG MODERN!, issued by No Coincidence Records. The 15-track album represents the quartet’s third full-length studio record to debut within the past year.
The new album blends multiple musical elements, moving between rock piano ballads, jazz interludes, and high-energy synth rock. Lead guitarist and vocalist Rick Mitarotonda stated that the songwriting process evolved organically out of structural concepts originally developed during the recording sessions for their 2025 release, Everything Must Go. The tracking includes the new single “Good Times // End Times,” which debuted alongside an official music video directed by Will Thresher.
Additional new songs from the album include “Torero” and “Good2B,” which recently rose to the number six position on the national Triple A radio charts. Alongside the live concerts, a physical pop-up event called the BIG MODERN! Experience + Pop-Up Shop will operate from June 18 through June 20 at The Drop House, located at 12 East 14th Street. The space will feature exclusive merchandise, event-specific apparel, and custom poster art.
For remote audiences, Amazon Music will provide a free, global live stream of the June 20 Madison Square Garden concert starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Fans can view the performance via the Amazon Music app, Prime Video, Twitch, and Fire TV. The band is currently traveling on an extensive summer tour route that concludes in late August before initiating a full domestic fall tour in November.
