Foo Fighters release new single ‘Of All People’ ahead of 12th studio album

The Foo Fighters have released their latest single, “Of All People,” a high-energy track that serves as the newest preview of the band’s upcoming 12th studio album. Titled Your Favorite Toy, the full record is scheduled for release on April 24 through Roswell Records and RCA Records.
The song made its live debut on February 22 during a performance at the intimate St. James Church in Dingle for the long-running RTÉ television series Other Voices. Described as an “early Husker Du-esque rager,” the track highlights a more aggressive side of frontman Dave Grohl. The studio version is now available for streaming and download, accompanied by a new visualizer.
Your Favorite Toy was recorded at a home studio and co-produced by the band alongside Oliver Roman. The 10-track album, mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent, includes songs such as “Caught In The Echo,” “Spit Shine,” and “Asking For A Friend.” It marks the latest chapter for the current lineup consisting of Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee, and Ilan Rubin.
The album’s arrival coincides with the band’s “Take Cover” world tour, which is set to visit stadiums throughout the summer. Fans can currently pre-order the new album, which follows the band’s tradition of blending melodic rock with raw, high-intensity performances.
