Foo Fighters have released “Caught in the Echo,” a new single from their upcoming 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy, set for release April 24 via Roswell Records/RCA Records.
The track, now available on digital platforms, is the third song released ahead of the album and opens with a driving intensity that sets the tone for the project. Built around urgent lyrics and a relentless pace, the song underscores the band’s signature blend of garage rock energy and arena-scale sound.
The single follows the previously released title track, which drew attention for its stripped-down, hard-hitting style. “Caught in the Echo” continues that momentum, delivering what the band describes as one of its most explosive openers in years.
Your Favorite Toy was recorded at home and co-produced by Foo Fighters and Oliver Roman, who also engineered the album. It was mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent. The 10-track album includes songs such as “Of All People,” “Window,” “If You Only Knew” and “Amen, Caveman.”
In a promotional stunt, 20 hand-burned CDs of “Caught in the Echo,” each featuring artwork by Dave Grohl and his daughter, Harper Grohl, were hidden across the San Fernando Valley in locations including record stores and retail chains.
Foo Fighters are Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin.
