Ocean House Collection’s three Rhode Island properties have been recognized in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. Weekapaug Inn was named the No. 2 resort in New England, and Ocean House was named the No. 4 resort in New England. Watch Hill Inn was named the No. 4 hotel in the Northeast.
“It is especially meaningful to see all three Ocean House Collection properties recognized by the discerning readers of Condé Nast Traveler,” said Dant Hirsch, president and managing director of Ocean House Collection. He said the honors belong to the teams whose hospitality and attention to every guest bring people back year after year.
The magazine received more than 798,867 survey responses from readers across the United States. The Readers’ Choice Awards are Condé Nast Traveler’s longest-running reader-voted honors and cover hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, cruises and other travel experiences. Ocean House in Watch Hill sits on a bluff overlooking a private white sand beach on the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of 14 Forbes 15-Star locations in the world, with Five-Star ratings for its hotel, spa and restaurant. It has 49 guestrooms, 20 suites and a collection of private cottage residences, with dining at COAST and The Bistro.
Watch Hill Inn is in the heart of the Watch Hill village, steps from boutique shops, the harbor and the beaches. It offers contemporary suites with fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas and private terraces.
Weekapaug Inn was established in 1899 and sits beside Quonochontaug Pond. It has 33 guestrooms, including four Signature Suites, and a restaurant. Its grounds include a lawn with Adirondack chairs, a heated saline pool, a fitness center and a borrowing closet. The inn is a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star property.
