Butterball, LLC has introduced updated versions of its Butterball Original Turkey Bacon and Lower Sodium Turkey Bacon across retail stores nationwide. The product refresh introduces changes to both flavor and physical appearance following consumer research and development testing by the Garner, North Carolina-based company.
The updated turkey bacon formulation features an enhanced smoky flavor designed to balance savory and sweet elements, while the physical slices are styled to closer resemble traditional pork bacon. The product updates also include revised home cooking instructions printed on the packaging to assist consumers with preparation.
The nutritional profile and pricing value of both the Original and Lower Sodium offerings remain identical to previous versions. Butterball refined the recipe after conducting consumer feedback sessions focused on morning meal preferences and product quality.
