Godsmack will release Live at Mohegan Sun on May 1, a career-spanning live album recorded during the band’s sold-out October 26, 2024, performance at Mohegan Sun Arena. The album captures the group performing before a hometown-adjacent New England crowd with precision, intensity and gratitude.

The live recording, available for pre-order through Primary Wave, includes a debut live single and video for “When Legends Rise.” The Mohegan Sun show, originally seen as a potential farewell for the classic lineup of vocalist-guitarist Sully Erna, guitarist Tony Rombola, bassist Robbie Merrill and drummer Shannon Larkin, instead became a celebratory milestone after decades of music-making, 20 million albums sold, 27 Top 10 singles and 13 No. 1 hits.

“I’ve cried several times watching this thing, but it’s a happy emotion, filled with a sense of accomplishment,” Erna said. “It was just closing one chapter and welcoming whatever the new version of our career may be.”

The live set spans Godsmack’s career, from heavy-hitting tracks like “Awake” and “Cryin’ Like a Bitch!!” to ballads such as “Under Your Scars” and modern favorites including “You and I.” A highlight includes the “Battle of the Drums,” a live spectacle showcasing decades of collaboration between Erna and Larkin.

Following the album release, Godsmack will launch the Rise of Rock World Tour 2026 with special guests Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy. The tour begins May 10 in Bristow, Virginia, and includes major North American festivals such as Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, WMMR’s MMRBQ in Camden, New Jersey, and Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio. European festival appearances and a U.S. headlining spot at the 20th anniversary of Rocklahoma are also planned.

In addition, 2026 will mark the 25th anniversary of Godsmack’s multi-platinum album Awake, set for release in an expanded edition featuring bonus tracks, including a new mix of “Why” and a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf.”

Live at Mohegan Sun will be available in digital, CD, Blu-ray and double vinyl formats, standing as a testament to Godsmack’s enduring connection with fans and their place in hard rock history.
