The pop-up channel is available to subscribers on the SiriusXM app from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30. Listeners can also access the channel in their cars on channel 51 from Sept. 21 through Sept. 27.
The programming highlights the group’s hits and anthems alongside personal stories and reflections from band members Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson. The members share insights into the music, moments, and milestones that shaped their career.
Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer of SiriusXM, stated that the company is honored to celebrate the band’s impact on music and culture. He noted that the channel gives listeners a dedicated space to enjoy the music and behind-the-scenes stories.
The channel timing aligns with the month made famous by one of the band’s most recognizable tracks. The limited-run channel honors more than 50 years of music from the influential group.
