The Capitol Theatre hosted the 11th annual John Henry’s Friends benefit concert on Friday, featuring performances by Steve Earle, Brandi Carlile, Margaret Glaspy, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams.
Earle served as host for the evening, which showcased the musicians in a guitar-pull format, trading songs and taking turns performing for the audience.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit The Keswell School, a program dedicated to children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder. The school provides educational, therapeutic and supportive services aimed at helping students lead integrated and productive lives within their communities.
The annual event highlights the continuing collaboration between acclaimed artists and charitable organizations supporting individuals with autism.
