Margaritaville properties worldwide will celebrate Jimmy Buffett Day and the third annual Day of Service on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026. The brand-wide initiative brings together guests, team members, and local communities for charitable events and volunteer activities throughout Labor Day Weekend.
The effort benefits local partner organizations alongside Singing for Change, the non-profit organization founded by Jimmy Buffett in 1995. Tamara Baldanza-Dekker, chief marketing officer at Margaritaville, noted that the annual day focuses on bringing people together and finding meaningful ways to support surrounding communities.
Several locations will host individual service projects and fundraising activities during the weekend. Margaritaville Resort Orlando will support Give Kids The World Village, while Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort Panama City Beach will host a first responders breakfast benefiting United Way of Northwest Florida.
Additional activations include island activities supporting kidsPACK at Camp Margaritaville Resort Auburndale, a pet food drive for Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare at Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound, and a veteran-focused room package at Compass Hotel Naples benefiting the Louisville Slugger Warriors. Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau will deliver non-perishable goods and volunteer time to the Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged.
Participating locations will offer a “Keep the Party Going” room package, exclusive merchandise, and two specialty drinks served in commemorative cups. Radio Margaritaville will also feature a live broadcast hosted by JD Spradlin from Margaritaville Cafe Key West on Sept. 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on SiriusXM Channel 24.
