Sheryl Crow will release her 12th studio album, Pick You Up, on Oct. 9, 2026. The seven-track project was written by Crow alongside long-time collaborator Jeff Trott and will be issued through Old Green Barn Productions LLC.
Coinciding with the album announcement, Crow released the record’s lead single, “Freedom Bus,” featuring Jesse Welles. The track is currently available across major digital retail outlets and streaming platforms.
Crow explained that “Freedom Bus” reflects on national freedoms, peaceful connection, and thoughtful dialogue. The single sets the foundation for the upcoming album, which returns to the singer-songwriter’s familiar musical roots across AAA, rock, and Americana genres.
The album cover art features a painting titled “The Elephant Who Forgot The Ocean” by artist Tyson Grumm. Crow, a long-time collector of Grumm’s work, acquired the original painting at an auction and received permission from the artist to use the piece for the cover.
To support the upcoming release, Crow is scheduled to perform on Good Morning America on Aug. 28. Pre-orders for Pick You Up are currently open across digital outlets.
