Vegas Thrill returns to Major League Volleyball for 2027 season

Major League Volleyball franchise Vegas Thrill will return to the court for the 2027 season following a strategic reboot under new local ownership. Executive producer Michael Landier, founder of Landier Entertainment, leads the ownership group alongside team president Ruben Herrera and general manager Fran Flory.

The team will play home matches at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada. The venue, which opened in 2022, also hosts the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights.

Rachel Morris has been appointed as the team’s new head coach. Morris joins the organization after four seasons as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Indiana University.

The organization is launching marketing initiatives across the Las Vegas Valley, focusing on local areas including Green Valley, Seven Hills, Anthem, Summerlin, and the 215 Beltway and St. Rose Parkway corridors. Community plans involve youth sports development, school programs, public appearances, and charitable partnerships throughout Clark County.

Alongside the return announcement, the franchise unveiled a new team logo and brand campaign. The 2027 season marks the fourth year for Major League Volleyball, which plans to expand to 12 teams nationwide.
