Paul Anka releases I believe

Legendary singer and songwriter Paul Anka released a new track, “I Believe,” on Wednesday from his upcoming studio album Inspirations of Life and Love, set for release February 13 on Green Hill Music and Sun Label Group.

“I Believe is a favorite song of mine,” Anka said. “I sang it when I was a kid, in church. I redid it for today; it’s one of the best songs written about life and love.”

The album, recorded largely at Anka’s home studio in California with symphony orchestral accompaniment from Budapest, will be available on vinyl, CD, and digitally in Dolby Atmos. It includes 11 tracks, featuring both original material and interpretations of classic songs.

Anka, 84, has cemented his status as one of the most prolific songwriters in popular music history. He is the only artist to have a song appear on the Billboard Top 100 in seven consecutive decades. He earned five Top 20 hits before the age of 18 and penned enduring songs for artists including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, and Buddy Holly.

His U.S. tour, A Man and His Music, resumes March 4. Tickets are available at www.paulanka.com.

The release follows Anka’s HBO documentary Paul Anka: His Way, which premiered December 1 and is streaming on HBO Max. The film traces Anka’s decades-long career, from teen idol to chart-topping songwriter, highlighting his constant reinvention and influence across generations of music.

Inspirations of Life and Love arrives just ahead of Valentine’s Day, offering a lushly orchestrated collection of songs celebrating life, love, and enduring musical artistry.
