Rock legends KISS are marking the 50th anniversary of their groundbreaking live album Alive! with a sprawling 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, set for release on November 21, 2025, via UMe. The collection, which comes in multiple formats—including Super Deluxe 4CD + Blu-ray Audio, Super Deluxe 8LP + Blu-ray Audio, Deluxe Picture Disc Vinyl, Premium Color Vinyl, and Super Deluxe Digital—offers fans a deep dive into the band’s seminal 1975 performances.
To commemorate the milestone, KISS released a previously unheard track, “C’mon And Love Me (Live in Davenport, Iowa),” available now on all streaming platforms. The anniversary edition also features Bernie Grundman’s new remaster of Alive!, carefully crafted from the original 1975 stereo analog master tapes, along with newly mixed multi-track concerts by legendary engineer Eddie Kramer.
The Super Deluxe box sets boast 120 tracks, including 88 previously unreleased recordings, capturing two full concerts from the 1975 Dressed To Kill tour: the RKO Orpheum Theatre in Davenport, Iowa, on July 20 (Second Show), and Wildwood Convention Hall in New Jersey on July 23. Bonus material includes rehearsal tracks, additional live songs from Cleveland, and a Blu-ray Audio disc with Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 mixes, plus newly remastered stereo.
Each set also includes a treasure trove of memorabilia: a 100-page hardcover book with interviews and liner notes by Ken Sharp, rare and unreleased photos, a reprint of the original 1975 press kit, a tour program, posters, backstage passes, coasters, guitar picks, a bumper sticker, an album cover lenticular, and more. Limited-edition vinyl options, including picture discs and gold-and-white cornetto with black splatter, feature foil-enhanced jackets and new posters, available exclusively through the official KISS store.
Originally released on September 10, 1975, Alive! captured performances from five nights of the Dressed To Kill tour and propelled KISS to rock superstardom. The album reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, sent “Rock and Roll All Nite” to #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and became the band’s first Gold-certified record. Widely regarded as one of rock’s definitive live albums, Alive! has been recognized by Rolling Stone and Guitar World as one of the greatest live albums of all time, paving the way for a string of iconic live recordings by other artists.
