Foo Fighters released a news single Asking for a friend in October 2025

Get ready to crank the volume: Foo Fighters are returning to North America with their first stadium tour since the massive 2023–2024 Everything or Nothing at All run. Kicking off August 4 at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium, the 2026 stadium tour will hit 12 cities across the U.S. and Canada, concluding on September 26 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

Queens of the Stone Age will join as direct support for all dates except the September 12 stop in Fargo.

General tickets go on sale Friday, October 31 at 10 a.m. local time, with Artist Presales currently open through Sunday, October 26 at 11:59 p.m. PT. For full ticket information and pre-sale details, fans should visit foofighters.com.

New Music to Match the Tour Energy

Coinciding with the tour announcement, Foo Fighters released their new single, “Asking for a Friend.” The track takes a darker, more hypnotic turn than their recent hit “Today’s Song,” with opening verses that build into explosive refrains of “What is real? I’m asking for a friend…” By the final breakneck crescendo, listeners are left exhilarated and breathless.

Dave Grohl shared a heartfelt statement about the inspiration behind the music and tour:

“Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing… What better way to share the view than with close friends? In 1992 I first saw the legendary Kyuss perform at the Off Ramp in Seattle and met Mr. Josh Homme… So it is with great happiness that we can share this next chapter together with his almighty Queens of the Stone Age.”

Grohl also reflected on the significance of the new single:

“‘Asking for a Friend’ is a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear. Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again. One of many songs to come…”
