Global rock icons Def Leppard have released a new single, “Rejoice,” ahead of the band’s return to Las Vegas for a monthlong residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning Feb. 3. The song is available on all streaming platforms via UMe.

Lead singer Joe Elliott described the track as a journey from “absolute rock bottom” to rising to a higher level. Guitarist Phil Collen added that the song emerged from a tribal drum loop and a riff he had developed previously, creating what he called a “powerful chant” and a hard-rock “oomph” the band has not explored in recent years.

Fans can hear “Rejoice” live during the residency, which runs through Feb. 28, alongside hits from Def Leppard’s multi-decade catalog. The shows follow sold-out residencies in 2013 and 2019. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
