Starbucks released Holiday Blend, its first global holiday album in over a decade, on Nov. 4. The company commissioned new recordings from established and rising artists, pairing fresh takes on holiday classics with an original song created for the album.

The seven-track album features Magnus Ferrell, Coco Jones, JYT, TRÍADA, Brandi Carlile, The Womack Sisters and Leon Thomas. The collection spans pop, soul, Americana and more, with JYT contributing the original holiday song.

The full track list includes “Happy Holiday / The Holiday Season” by Magnus Ferrell, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Coco Jones, “This Christmas” by JYT and “Llegó La Navidad” by TRÍADA. It also includes “River” by Brandi Carlile, “What Christmas Means to Me” by The Womack Sisters and “Soulful Christmas” by Leon Thomas.

Holiday Blend is available globally on digital streaming platforms through Interscope Records and Universal Music Group. It will also play in select Starbucks coffeehouses throughout the holiday season.

“Music has always been part of the Starbucks experience, and we are building on that legacy in a way that feels fresh for today,” said Erin Silvoy, senior vice president, global marketing and channel development. “My hope is that it becomes part of the soundtrack to the season, creating a little more joy and connection whether you’re in a Starbucks coffeehouse or wherever the holidays take you.”

The artists also shared their thoughts on the project. JYT said the idea that someone could be ordering a Refresher and hear their song playing is “actually crazy.” TRÍADA said singing their song in Spanish let them connect with it in their own way.

Starbucks’ holiday season began Nov. 5, with returning favorites such as Peppermint Mocha and Gingerbread Chai, along with new festive beverages and merchandise.

Holiday Blend also includes a $500,000 donation to World Central Kitchen to support humanitarian relief efforts around the world. The nonprofit has been a partner of The Starbucks Foundation since 2019.
