HGTV will debut a new spinoff series, “Home Town: Inn This Together,” on Sunday, May 10, following stars Ben and Erin Napier as they tackle the largest restoration project in the history of Laurel, Mississippi.

The series, which premieres at 8 p.m. ET/PT, features the Napiers assisting their family and close friends — Jim and Mallorie Rasberry and Josh Nowell — in a massive undertaking to revive the historic Kress building. The 25,000-square-foot structure has sat vacant in downtown Laurel for 40 years.

The project aims to transform the 1930s-era building into a multi-use destination featuring a hotel, a food venue, and retail space. According to the network, the renovation team faced significant obstacles throughout the process, including structural decay, flooded floors, and multimillion-dollar budget concerns.

The series will also document a major setback for the team: a devastating fire that caused severe damage to the hotel following the completion of the renovation.

The Napiers have spent more than eight seasons on their flagship series, “Home Town,” focusing on the revitalization of historical properties and small-town culture in their community. This spinoff marks a shift toward large-scale commercial hospitality and urban redevelopment.

“Home Town: Inn This Together” is produced by RTR Media Inc. Viewers can stream episodes on Max and discovery+ following the linear broadcast.
